01. About
I'm a Computer Science student at Queen's University
(Software Design specialization), graduating in 2027. Most of what I do comes
down to building tools people actually reach for.
Recently I spent 15 months at Hydro One, where working
directly on Ontario's power grid was honestly one of the
coolest parts. On the side I help build
Coursify,
a course-planning platform now used by 5,400+ Queen's
students. I care about the details: clean code, clear docs, and shipping things
that hold up in production.

Beyond the code
When I step away from the keyboard, you'll usually find me around
cars, out on the water fishing,
or tinkering with whatever side project has my attention that week. Also a proud
Pokémon fan, and yes, Umbreon is the best one. Curious by default.
Automated SCADA/EMS database release workflows with Perl + GitLab CI, cutting execution time from 25 to 3 minutes and standardizing a release process now in production for 1+ year.
Built 25+ automated validation scripts for SCADA/EMS models, improving data quality and saving 10–15 minutes per ticketed task.
Wrote a Python package that converts EMS modeling requests into GE Source-ready import files, applying voltage-based rules and eliminating manual data prep.
Migrated a legacy FORTRAN dynamic line-rating codebase to C++, improving maintainability and removing single-expert dependency.

Built full-stack web apps on the MERN stack, adding application-level caching for frequently requested data to cut redundant requests and speed up retrieval.
Wrote end-to-end Selenium suites covering the majority of critical workflows, improving regression reliability across key user flows.
Translated Figma and Webflow prototypes into responsive, reusable interfaces, collaborating with designers to improve usability on desktop and mobile.
A course-planning platform for Queen's students: a Chrome MV3 extension and web
app that surface GPA trends, offerings, Reddit threads, and professor reviews
right inside SOLUS. 1,100+ launch-day users, now
5,400+ students. I built Redis-backed API rate limiting,
Supabase Auth + PostgreSQL row-level security, and a Gemini agent grounded in
course-catalog data.

Vision Allies · Support Hub
A Jira-style internal support hub built in React + TypeScript that centralizes
issue tracking, developer follow-ups, and ticket resolution. I architected
client-side state and protected navigation with Redux Toolkit and React Router,
and modeled User–Ticket–Comment relationships to power contextual ticket
histories and discussion workflows.
